Seminar and Speaker Events

The Center will host a regularly scheduled series of seminars and speaker events throughout the year that address a broad and diverse range of subjects.  The goal will be to contribute to the culture and intellectual richness of the region.

Speakers will include individuals that are known locally, statewide, nationally and internationally.  Topics will be diverse and may include but not be limited to: wildlife conservation, American energy policy, American and regional history, philosophy of hunting, locavore lifestyle, wildlife research, natural history of wildlife, global wildlife conservation issues, discussions on literature, and speakers from policy and political think tanks.

The Center will work with local colleges and universities to coordinate and enhance these events and reach out to audiences that might not automatically be associated with a wildlife themed facility.  With a goal of engaging the residents of the region, these events will add a unique dimension to the activities offered at the Center.
