BIRD OBSERVATORY

The first of three Boone’s Ridge bird observatories is nearing completion. Bird watching is the fastest growing outdoor activity in the US, and with over 280 different species of birds on site during the year, it will be a popular Boone’s Ridge activity. Each of the observatories will face an array of bird feeders intended to attract a variety of birds to within easy viewing and photography distance. Visitors will be able to reach the bird observatories by foot trails or a ride on the tram.
